Special Notice to all COMOAA Members

November 10th, 2009

Recent changes in the federal reporting requirements for Veterans Tax Exempt and or Charitable organizations have necessitated the need to update COMOAA membership data and to document the specific status and period of service of our membership.  This applies to all current COMOAA members and will be required of all future new members including current or past members of the armed forces, the other uniformed services (Public Health & NOAA), Cadets and surviving members of those that served in the armed forces

Please if you have NOT filled in the form in the November 2009 Sitrep and sent it in, either do so now or go to our website welcome page http://comoaa.com/CollectData/PayDues/getdata.asp and fill out the quick On-Line form.  If you would like you may pay your 2010 dues at the same time, but please do it now!  COMOAA needs the additional information to maintain our Tax Free Status.

The board thanks you!

Sorry We Were Off-Line a Couple of Days

November 5th, 2009

On Monday morning this site was put off line by our web host after they suffered a server crash.  Couldn’t have came at a worse time either!  I had just finished putting up the new forms to allow on-line new members to join us on line using credit cards or PayPal.  I also had put up the form you saw in Sitrep that allows members to submit the IRS required data the treasurer needs on line.  (And pay 2010 dues at the same time if you like).

We are 90% back at this time.  We lost a few changes in some updated pages and I expect to have that corrected very soon.

Thanks for your patience here

Tom Thomas
